Vietnamese Pho! Home storage recipe!

I feel very blessed! Bill is such a good sport! He never quite knows what to expect when dinner time rolls around! LOL! It is a Vietnamese soup. This is full of veggies and contains meat, but in this case TVP "meat" and bay shrimp! Super easy and quick!



                                                                  


                                                     PHO


Asian Rice vermicelli  prepare as package indicates. Set aside


6 cups of boiling water


3 tablespoons chicken base


and the following dehydrated veggies and TVP from motherearthproducts.com


2 tablespoons of the each of the following:

chopped onions
broccoli
leeks
carrots
sweet corn
diced tomatoes
cabbage
Ham Bits
Beef Bits
Chicken bits


2 tablespoons dehydrated porta bella mushrooms

1 cup frozen bay shrimp

mix all together and boil for 8 minutes, turn flame off and cover for 10 minutes. Add cooked noodles and serve!


Serve with fresh fruit and green salad. makes 6 - 8 servings.
